About Us

Holiday C.A.R.E Event

Last year's C.A.R.E. project around this time of year was making Christmas cards for Hospice patients and caregivers.  We are doing that again this year.  Hoping to make as many or more cards.

November 30th 10:00-2:00

We will gather at my home for a day of card making.  I will probably have soup, or something simple for lunch.  Bring anything you have you think we might be able to use; such as paper, glue, adhesives, or embellishments.  You don't have to bring to participate.  We will have plenty.

There is No Charge for this Event.

If you would like to be a part of this outreach, contact me.

Making HalloweenTreat Boxes for the Children's Hospital

    About Us

    Our next C.A.R.E. Event

We will meet on October 5th and create treat boxes to be distributed  to children hospitalized over Halloween.

We are using September Paper Pumpkin kit to create these boxes.

Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription of an all inclusive project.  The stamps, inks, and all materials are provided in the kit, including the adhesives.  This subscription makes 20 treat boxes per kit.  We are planning on making at least 100 boxes this day.

You can receive these kits yourself.

    To subscribe visit www.paperpumpkin.com

Please add me, Susan Owen, as your demonstrator.  By doing that, you become part of my paper pumpkin team.

    About Us

    Cards for Senior Citizens

Our May 18th C.A.R.E. Event is creating packs of greeting cards to give to senior citizens who are home bound.  We will also enclose postage stamps.

We are meeting at GCBC Life Center from 10AM-2PM

I am asking everyone who participates to bring a pack of stamps.

Contact me if you would like to participate.

It is always a blessing to encourage others.

      What We Do

      Create cards as encouragement

Hospitals, Homeless, Disabled, Elderly, Widowed, Hospice patients, or teachers, service personnel, Caregivers, so many people need a kind word, an expression of thanks, or a smile in the form of a card.  We not only create cards as a ministry, we teach others to do the same.

      Upcoming events

Together with my group of Stamp & Scrappers, we meet quarterly to create cards and projects for this ministry.  We met January 19th to create Valentines for the Shine Soup Kitchen's February Valentine Banquet.  We were about 20 ladies in number that day, and we created around 200 Valentine's Day Cards.  The pictures of some of those cards are pictured above.

Our next C.A.R.E. Event will be in April.

I will update information when our projects are finalized.

If you are not local, you can still be a part of our ministry.

Contact me for ways your group can combine with ours on upcoming projects and events.  There is always a need.  Even in your area.

If you are not interested in creating cards, but would like to donate toward the supplies used in this ministry, please contact me.
